Irish Fashion Exposure Autumn/Winter

Irish Fashion Exposure Autumn/Winter 2017

We had the pleasure of being among the list of leading Irish fashion Designers to participate in the 9th Annual Irish Fashion Exposure on the 29th of September in the Stephen’s Green Hibernian Club. This event was very exclusive with a limited guest list of Ireland’s fashion lovers. The concept of the show was to create a relaxed environment for fashion lovers to enjoy a top- of-the line all Irish fashion show.

The event was also held to raise much needed funds for the Order of St. Lazarus Ireland, a Charity engaged in humanitarian work with children and the invalided. The nominated Charities who were the recipients of this year were: Nyumbani Kenya a Programme that provides a home and education to AIDS Children in Kenya, Food for Life Vrindivan India which Provides Education - Food and health Care for some of the poorest families in Uttar Pradesh and Operation Smile, An Irish Charity which provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children around the globe. Last year lunch raised approx. €18,000 all of which went to the nominated charities and over the past eight years this event has raised over €170,000 for other such worthy causes. These projects are small and vital and to both their local community and those who are often the most in need and often the most overlooked.

This year’s showcase featured a number of Irelands leading designers, Featuring the collections of Caroline Kilkenny, Claire O’Connor, Helen Steele, Niall Tyrell, Lucy Nagel, Niamh O’Neill, Roisin Linanne, Delphine Grandjouan, Caroline Foy Childrenswear, amongst others. We are proud to be the first children’s designer to take part in this long established exclusive event.
